¡¨Grammar...... teaches us how to make use of words; that is to say, it teaches us how to make use of them in the proper manner ¡K to be able to choose the words which ought to be placed, we must be acquainted with certain principles and rules; and these principles and rules constitute what is called Grammar.¡¨

It is always a headache that some students in a class develop their ability in the language at a slower pace. It is always a heavy burden to have students who even do not possess basic grammar knowledge. To be a teacher already means having a heavy workload. It is always difficult to find extra time for these pitiful late developers.

For these lagged (left)-behind students, the very thought of learning English grammar well puts them off. The simple fact that they have not mastered English grammar after many years of schooling tells them that to master English grammar is a long, if not impossible task.

Grammar I-Learner is a short cut for second language learners, especially Chinese learners, to the mastery of basic English grammar.  Grammar I-Learner aims to help motivated teenagers/the lagged (left)-behind students to improve their English in a short time. By turning these students into I-Learners, teachers can see them progress through a short cut in learning English. We believe that after this grasp of basic English grammar, most students will gain the most benefit from normal classroom teaching.

Grammar I-Learner takes account of the fact that our existing school syllabus is based on a very old learning theory and is designed for a child learning English in an unaware manner. However, adults and teenagers, with their maturity in the area of learning, can and should learn basic English grammar in a quicker, more direct and more conscious manner. With this mastery and awareness of grammar, it will be easier for them to speak and write grammatically.

  1. Check students' progress with the teachers¡¦ login from time to time.
  2. Give encouragement
  3. Provide further guidance to students according to their individual needs
  4. Guide the students to the usage and beauty, reading, writing and many other aspects of English which can be taught to students much more easily after students are not blocked by poor grammar sense.

¡¨The evidence seems to show beyond doubt that though it is by communicative use in real "speech acts" that the new language "sticks" in the learner's mind, insight into pattern is an equal partner with communicative use in what language teachers now see as the dual process of acquisition/learning. Grammar, approached as a voyage of discovery into the patterns of language rather than the learning of prescriptive rules, is no longer a bogey word.¡¨
