A man who survived the earthquake told his wife "My dearest wife, don't worry, I'm walking the road with you." His wife was killed in the earthquake. Her husband was not willing to have his wife burnt at the site, so he bounded her body to his with a rope and headed to the nearest mortuary for her funeral.
